Aikido introduced in Chennai with a demonstration by Sensai Masayasu Otsuka, by the initiation and efforts taken by Kobudo A S Krishnamurthy in the year 2010.
Kobudo A S Krishnamurthy with Masayasu Otsuka, formed an DOJO to practice Aikido initially with 20 Members.
We have presented several demonstrations in Chennai and Sun TV in the past two and half years.
We teach aikido directly to students in CAC Dojo.
From AIKIKAI, Honbu DOJO Tokyo JAPAN, Shihan H FUJI MAKHI and Sensai T Hino , visited CAC in the month of February and gave one week intensive training for the Students.
Japan Counsel Mr. T. KITAGAWA, Vice Counsel Mrs. FURUKAWA and Chief Guest Shri. K Muthukkarpan IPS, ADGP and Mr. Nakeeran Gopal witnessed the Aikido Demonstration, on the occasion of the 60th Anivrsary of INDO JAPAN Diplomatic Relationship Function held at JJ INDOOR Stadium, Kilpauk Chennai on 21st Feb 2012 organised with the support of Japan Embassy, New Delhi and INDO JAPAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chennai.
We are practicing regularly on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday: 6:30 pm. - 8:00 pm.
